Rezerwat Wielin lies in West Pomerania in northern Poland, about 40 km from the Baltic Sea – surrounded by two lakes, forests and protected nature reserves. On our grounds there is a stocked fish pond with a jetty where you can go fishing. About 200 m from the gate is the bathing area on the large lake – with a jetty, a beach, benches, a gazebo and a fire pit. You can walk there from the main gate along the road, or out the back through the second small gate and through the forest. The proximity of water and nature is our greatest asset – on one side, vast forests, on the other, a picturesque lake, all set in the heart of protected areas.
Our villas are modern, air-conditioned and carefully finished – each with its own unique character.
There is a large shared car park right on the site with one free parking space for each villa, and very good Wi-Fi is free. Every villa has a private sauna and hot tub (Villa Wood Jacuzzi: a sauna and a whirlpool), which you can use at your own pace, with no time limits – nobody knocks on the door and nobody waits for their turn. On request, we provide baby cots, highchairs and baby bathtubs.

- A quiet New Year's Eve – fireworks and firecrackers are strictly forbidden on the grounds near the villas – out of consideration for animals (our guests' dogs and the wildlife of the nearby nature reserve) and for safety, as the villas have many wooden elements and falling fireworks could start a fire. If you'd like to welcome the New Year with fireworks, you're welcome to set them off down by the lake, well away from the villas.

Rezerwat Wielin lies in West Pomerania in northern Poland, close to the Polish Baltic coast. From the German border near Szczecin it takes only about 2 hours – almost all the way on the new, comfortable S6 expressway. From Berlin it is about 3.5–4 hours, depending on where you start. The Baltic Sea (Darłówko, Ustka) is about 40 km away.

- Lunches are prepared by a trusted local home-style catering service. They are delivered to us fresh from their kitchen – we pass on your order and hand over your lunch.
- Monday to Friday (except public holidays and long weekends)
- Every morning we email you the menu of the day – a soup of the day and 5 main courses to choose from
- Reply with your order – by 11:00
- Pick up your lunch at around 12:30–13:00 at our house or the gazebo – we will let you know when it arrives
- Not around? We will keep your lunch until you are back
- Order only on the days you want – lunches are paid in cash on the day of departure
Soups: rosół (chicken noodle soup), żurek (sour rye soup), pea soup, white borscht, red borscht, tomato soup
Main courses: breaded pork cutlet, chicken de volaille, beef roulades, goulash, potato dumplings with goulash, liver with onions, chicken fricassee, gizzard stew, grilled pork neck, roast chicken leg, łazanki (noodles with cabbage), pierogi – served with salad and potatoes or groats
Something sweet: pierogi with fruit, crêpes with sweet cottage cheese

Real country food from the neighbourhood. Many things are made to order – it is worth calling ahead, even before you arrive. Not everything is always available right away.

For Christmas Eve you can order traditional Polish Christmas dishes (including pierogi, Lenten sauerkraut and more), prepared by our local village women's association (Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich), plus home-made smoked meats from a local producer. Just contact us at least 2 weeks before Christmas – we'll send you the menu and contact details, and everything will be delivered to your villa on Christmas Eve.
